Money Magazine recently named Round Rock the seventh-best small city in America to live in. The poll in the August 2008 edition of the magazine came in the same year as Round Rock became the second fastest growing city in the country.
Round Rock likes to think of itself as the sports capitol of Texas, and the city has its own minor league baseball team, Round Rock Express, who play at the Dell Diamond in the city. Old Settlers Park offers disc golf, cricket, baseball, softball and soccer fields. The Rockin' River Family Aquatic Center at the Old Settlers Park is also available to residents.
